A DRIVER will front court after being charged with being under the influence during a deadly crash at Wee Waa last year.

The Wee Waa man was arrested by police from the Crash Investigation Unit on Tuesday and charged with a raft of offences in connection to the fatal crash on October 28.
The 37-year-old was allegedly under the influence of alcohol when he got behind the wheel of a Honda all-terrain vehicle (ATV) about 12.50am.
He, along with two passengers, aged 27 and and 25, were in the ATV when it left the roadway and crashed off the Yarrie Lake Road at Wee Waa, about 40km from Narrabri, police said.
Emergency services were alerted and performed CPR but despite their efforts, the 27-year-old man died at the scene.

The driver and the second passenger were taken to Narrabri hospital with various injuries, but both have been released.
Police set up a crime scene at the crash site which was examined by specialist investigators.
Following investigations into the crash, the 37-year-old was arrested after presenting to Narrabri Police Station on Tuesday.
He's facing charges of dangerous driving occasioning death as well as grievous bodily harm (GBH) by driving under the influence; negligent driving occasioning death and GBH; mid-range drink driving; using an unregistered but registrable motor vehicle on the road; and handle or use a firearm under the influence of alcohol or drug.
The man was granted conditional bail to front Narrabri Local Court in April.
Police said investigations into the crash are continuing and a report is being prepared for the coroner into the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
