People made tracks from around the region to get their hands on a free pack of the chocolate snacks despite the PR event copping flak from local health professionals.
Celebrity chef Poh was the ambassador for the day, slamming Tim Tams and getting selfies with the Tamworth throng.

Council has previously stated there was no commercial or ongoing partnership arrangement in place with Arnott’s.
However, Tamworth Regional Council mayor Col Murray helped open the festivities on Saturday.
“Arnott’s has been a staple in Australian pantries for generations,” he said in a written statement.
“We are enjoying all of the fun and unique festivities that we have going on here in Tamworth today for National Tim Tam Day.”
