The school’s Year 7 and Year 11 students will spend about three days at Lake Keepit for the 2019 Bonding Excursion.
Established some years ago by welfare head teacher Liz Saunders, it encourages teamwork and friendship, as well as leadership and responsibility skills in the older youths.
“Students will undertake exercises like building a raft and crossing the pool as a team, and other outdoor activities,” Mrs Saunders said.
“They are also encouraged to create new friendships all in a supportive environment.”
The travellers will return to Quirindi on Friday.
