MORE than a dozen new dealers to the district will be plying their wares at this year’s Armidale Antiques and Collectables Fair. It will be held at the Armidale Jockey Club in Barney Street.
“This year, we are helping out the farmers with a raffle and a donation from the gate,” one of the organisers and dealer Keith Stringer said.
Money raised will be given to the charity, Doing it for our Farmers, under the auspices of the United Church, Tamworth. The fair has been going for about 15 years and is the largest event of its type in the New England area.
Entry costs from $8, free to children under the age of 14.
