On Wednesday, The Northern Daily Leader photographer Gareth Gardner headed to Tamworth Public School as the students returned after the summer holiday break.
He also went to Quirindi on Thursday as Reilly’s closed its doors for the final time. John Reilly was at the helm of the business for 40 years and the store first opened in May, 1911.

Peter Hardin was busy on Friday.
He first headed to Oxley High School as Year 7 kids took part in a STEAM Day which is designed to get them excited about learning 21st Century skills.
Peter was then at the Tamworth City Bowling Club for their centenary celebrations.
He was then on deck at the Splash on Peel workshop on Saturday before heading to another centenary celebration – this time at Calrossy – on Sunday.
