Numbers were severely down especially the number of buskers on Peel street and that is what brings crowds into the street.
With many artists doing just the one major show the crowds at fan zone did not peak till the Thursday.

Climate change
Climate change is here. It is melting our roads and buckling train tracks, changing our weather patterns and putting pressure on nature and agriculture.
The increase in heatwaves alone will literally kill more of us.
This recent heatwave sends a clear warning - our community must urgently mobilise for climate action and it needs political leaders who are up to the task.
The coming years are critical in the fight to protect the people we love and our planet from dangerous climate change.
The next NSW Government can either fiddle while the climate heats beyond our control, or they can transform our community, economy and natural world by phasing out coal and powering our world by 100 per cent renewable energy.
This transformation will bring with it great opportunities for new jobs and innovative technologies across the state.
Australia can transition away from being a quarry and lead the way on renewable innovation, exporting our science, know-how and clean solar power to the world.
NSW parliament needs some strong independent MPs like me to hold the major parties accountable on dealing with the climate emergency in NSW.
The task of phasing out fossil fuels is now critically urgent. We cannot squib it.”

Rangari rd upgrade
A new bridge in Manilla would be a great asset to the local and wider community.
Can we please see some media focus on the poorly maintained Rangari rd to Boggabri.
I travel the road daily to work and there are many accidents that go unreported.
Kevin Anderson has promised to help the upgrade go ahead with no progress. The mines contribute so much to local area.
Are local councils so blind that they can’t see how much Manilla and Tamworth would benefit by up grading the road? I work with hundreds of people. Many of those would chose Manilla as home if the road was upgraded.
In comparison the Hunter Valley is the size of a fifty cent piece, whereas the Gunnedah basin is the size of a dinner plate.
Coal is here to stay. Come on media let’s get behind fixing our road so to benefit our local area.
We are being left behind in so many areas because local government is to blind to see how much money comes from local coal mines.
Jobs for locals (high dollar jobs)
Locals spend that money locally
How hard is it to understand!
It’s only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured on this poorly maintained rd.
