In trucks, on the back of utes, out the sunroof or on foot, country music stars, singers, songwriters and community organisations rolled down the city’s main street.
Lee Kernaghan and mayor Col Murray were some of the faces to headline the street parade along with The McClymonts, Adam Harvey, Beccy Cole, The Wolfe Brothers, Mickey Pye, Hurricane Fall and the 2019 Queen of Country Music Quest entrants.
The crowds stretched from near the velodrome to Viaduct Park, waving flags, clapping and cheering on the dancers and the performers as they made their way down the street.
