Always a popular event the cavalcade will take off from the corner of Hill and Peel Street at 9am, and will roll right down the main drag to Viaduct Park.
With a few changes to the layout of Peel Street this year members of the public are being urged to get in early to snag a good spot.
This year stalls have been trading out of the middle of the street.
Country music manager Barry Harley said the stalls have been designed to stay put, while the cavalcade will roll down the western edge of Peel Street, or the Target side of the street, three metres closer to the footpath and the crowd.
“We are trying to make the festival experience better each year,” he said.
“Moving the stalls has opened up the street more, and on balance we are confident that it is working.”

Last week council also put a call out to the community for anyone who had an “Unbreakable” Toyota that could be added to the show to carry stars and just be involved.
As usual the cavalcade will be full of colour and stars according to coordinator Carol Hughes.
“There will be colourful floats, motorbikes, horses, dances, bands and 27 of the last 40 Starmaker winners including Lee Kernaghan and Beccy Cole,” she said.
“This is also the last year that BAE will be doing the flyover, and they have promised more jets and pilots and a spectacular final show.”
Over 25 locals came forward and will be taking part in the parade in a variety of vehicles.
