The second round of the Gunnedah Automotive Premier League Twenty20 competition will see the Tigers search for their second win on the trot after defeating the Sign Print Stitch Stars in round one.
Tigers co-captain Hayden Baker believes bowling “to the team’s plan” will be his side’s key to victory.
“I know Mitchell Swain, our co-captain, likes to set fields to full and straight bowling and at times last week we bowled a bit short and didn’t really follow that plan,” Baker said.
“So, this week it is crucial that we stick to the plan and really have a crack at their batting lineup because they have some dangerous batters.”

Baker said his side would have to be particularly wary of Bulls co-captains Adam McGuirk and Cameron Milne.
“Both guys have been in terrific form for their clubs so far this summer,” he said.
“They have both made a lot of runs and can take the game away from you really quickly, so we will have to be on our game.”
Baker said he was confident his side’s blend of youth and experience would be a major factor.
“I think having veterans like Troy Sands and Mitchell Swain leading the way will help bring the best out of our younger guys,” he said.
“I think those two guys would have played as much, if not more T20 cricket than pretty much anyone in the competition.
“So it’s really handy to have that level of experience there to learn from.
“As part of the younger group, we will try to come to their level and hopefully we can bring it all together and get a win.”
- Friday’s game will begin at 5.30pm.
