The 26-year-old plans to share more of herself this time around.
“I was in my 20’s with a vivid imagination and I’d make up stories about other people,” she said.
“But when it’s your own stories it’s personal and you’re giving a lot more of yourself.”
Coming to Tamworth for half of her life, Lamb plans to use her only gig at the festival to showcase songs from her upcoming album.
Fans can expect more of a British influence with a dusty, soul sound.
Written in Nashville, Lamb created 36 songs in just five days and only 10 of the best will make the final cut.
“There’s definitely more heartfelt maturity on this album,” she said.

“They’ve never been played and that’s the thing about music – once it’s out there you have to live with it for your career.
“I’m interested to see how people react to it.”
Her newest single Hot, Hot Kiss will be released around Valentine’s Day and her only show at Tamworth Country Music Festival is on at The Albert Hotel on Thursday at 4pm.
Special guests Andrew Swift and The Wolfe Brothers are expected to join Lamb on stage.
