It’s also a good insight into the mischievous band that started on the family homestead in Balmain.
“I’m not sure we feel the same pressures the other country music acts feel - we’re on our own trajectory whether people want to stick with us or not is up to them,” T-Bone Pig said.
“There’s a lot of fun on there [the new album] as well as small serious moments.
“We like to have a good time while we’re doing it.”
Their sound is original with banjo, fiddle, guitar and a real saw mixed in.
Their latest offering is a bit more on the side of pop rock than usual.

“In previous albums we’ve been striving for something particular sounding to fit a market,” T-Bone said.
“We wanted to make the album we wanted, we decided not to worry too much about fitting into a particular genre and that’s why it came out like that.”
The bluegrass band has three shows at The Longyard on Thursday at 10pm, Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm.
