Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson sashed the 13 2019 Zonta Club of Tamworth’s Queen of Country Music Quest entrants on the Fan Zone stage on Friday.
Emerie Anonical said being a part of the quest had changed her view on the festival.
“It’s opened up my eyes as to what the festival is about, and seeing the story unfold is really interesting,” Ms Anonical said.
She also gave some handy advice to women thinking of applying for the 2020 quest.
“Just give it a go – you never know what you’ll discover for yourself and for the festival, and the Tamworth region in general.”

On a scorching day one of the festival, entrant Jenny Furner offered up some invaluable advice.
“Learn how to keep cool in long sleeves, jeans and hats,” Ms Furner said.
The entrants will spend the festival interacting with the community and lending them a helping hand.
They will also be promoting their sponsors, local businesses and the Zonta Club of Tamworth.
The queen and princess of the 2019 quest will be crowned at the Tamworth Jockey Club on January 27.
