OPENING CONCERT
Tamworth Country Music Festival’s opening show reflects the diversity found in Australia’s scene.
It features CMAA Academy of Country Music students and tutors, Jasmine Rae, Gina Timms, 2018 Star Maker winner Brad Cox, Hurricane Fall and more special guests. The concert kicks off at 7pm at Toyota Park, and wraps up with a spectacular fireworks show at 9pm.
LIVE ON THE DECK
Take a scenic drive to Nundle’s charming DAG Sheep Station, known as the local songwriter’s mecca. Live on the Deck features Ali Shield and Bek Thornton from 11am to 2pm. Richo’s Roundup begins inside and features Golden Guitar winners Aleyce Simmonds, Greg Storer and John Krsulka, with Gretta Ziller, Golden Guitar finalist Andrew Swift and Richo Richardson.
And, there’s a roast buffet meal included in the tickets.
ADAM HARVEY
The curtains go up on Adam Harvey’s festival account joined by The Voice winner Judah Kelly.
It’s the first of two performances from Harvey at the festival for those who like to party.
The show kicks off at Wests at 8:30pm.
ANDREW SWIFT
Riding high after releasing his debut country album Call Out for the Cavalry, Andrew Swift arrives in Tamworth with a full head of steam.
He has 10 official appearances scheduled for Tamworth Country Music Festival including two on Friday, 11am at Richo’s Roundup at The DAG Sheepstation in Nundle and 8pm at The Welder’s Dog.
DARE TO DANCE
Don’t miss some traditional line dancing action at Tamworth Shopping World from 2pm to 5pm.
