Festival express bus drivers have had the privilege to chauffeur some of country music’s best, says Tamworth Buslines Manager Chris Lanham.

“Beccy Cole played some songs on the bus once, and Tania Kernaghan has caught it too,” Mr Lanham said.
For the past 35 years Mr Lanham has managed the bus company and has driven the ordinary and extraordinary in and around the festival.

The service runs 24 hour days, with employees in the workshop ensuring the buses are running smoothly before they embark.
“We run services everywhere,” he said.
“All over town, all the venues, and up to Bendemeer, Nundle, Quirindi, and Manilla.”
Mr Lanham says it’s intense heat like this which gives business a boost.
It’s depending on the weather with how busy it gets,” he said.
“When it’s hot, people will be using it more than not.”
Adults can purchase all day and all night wristbands for the bus for the full 10 days for $40.
Pensioners can purchase this same pass for $25.
