For the best part of two weeks, the annual festival will pay tribute to the two staple foods, combined with a mix of music, special events and live entertainment.

While it may not have the same crowd numbers as they do down the road at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, the Guyra Lamb and Potato Festival is a major fundraiser for the Guyra community.
The festival is on from January 16 to 27 at Rotary Park on the New England Highway in Guyra.
