And the youth council has the numbers to back it up.
About 100 kids turned-up to the event and early indications suggest the pool party was a perfect pitch to the kids who dived-in to the swimming soiree.

Tamworth Regional Council youth services team leader Kate Allwell said the kids who attended had an optional survey to fill-out about the event.
“We asked the kids who attended how they rated the pool party,” Ms Allwell said.
“We had 40 responses and about 33 of them rated it a 10 or a nine.”
The attendees were also asked whether they had the opportunity to meet a youth councillor at the event and the survey results found there was a 100 per cent strike rate.
“One of the main ideas for the event was to raise awareness about the youth council amongst their peers so they could raise their ideas or feedback,” she said.
The Youthie ran a free bus service on the day to bring kids in from Coledale and Ms Allwell said there was more than 40 kids who took came in for the drop-in centre.
The youth council will now prepare for its next pool party with an event scheduled for January 25 at Nundle.
Ms Allwell said the Nundle event would “piggy-back” off Tamworth’s success and there would be another bus service from The Youthie to take people to the party.
Ms Allwell said there were no plans yet to bring the pool party back, but she said it would be “easier to organise” next time.
“It all depends on funding, so we will be building on the success of this and seek further funding for this kind of thing from another avenue,” she said.
Council still has a range of free and costed events going on through the holidays.
There are free events for kids at The Youthie throughout this week, including a 3D printing on Wednesday, a movie night on Friday and touch footy night next Monday.
There is also an array of games on offer at the Tamworth Sports Domes during the coming weeks too.
Parents must register their children for sports dome events which kick off on Tuesday.
