Glenda Noble has been a member of Tamworth Evening VIEW Club (TEVC) since its inception 40 years ago, and has held many positions both on the committee as well as zone and national counsellor.
The branch said Glenda had been nominated for the award because she reflects the values of VIEW.
In 2013 when the fires burnt many homes in the hills around Coonabarabran, Glenda organised the other VIEW clubs in the zone to donate, pack and transport much needed personal and household goods to one of the Coonabarabran VIEW Club members who had lost everything in the fire.

The branch said Glenda had “worked tirelessly behind the scenes for 40 years meeting VIEW’s vision: attracting new members, supporting existing members and encouraging all not to forget why VIEW clubs exist – the children, who benefit from their work”.
“Glenda received a letter from the National President of VIEW Australia who stated that she was a very deserving member who was an excellent ambassador for VIEW both locally and nationally,” the branch said.
Glenda will be added to the honour roll at the national convention which will be held in Twin Waters later this year.
