Leonie McLean was last seen at 6am on Thursday when she was dropped at the Narrabri Train Station.
Police have been told she was due to catch a train from Narrabri to Sydney and then onto Bendigo.
The 52-year-old was reporting missing by a concerned family member and police are trying to determine if Ms McLean boarded the train, or might have left early.

She is described as being Maori New Zealander in appearance with a tall, large build and dark complexion.
Ms McLean was last seen wearing blue denim shorts, a black top, crocs shoes and was carrying four bags.
Police are appealing for help to track Ms McLean’s whereabouts and are asking any members of the public who might have seen her to contact Narrabri Police Station on 6792 7199.
