The players coach Jarrod Campbell said the past week had been “a big one for the three high performance athletes.”
“After leaving Shepparton last week we moved onto Albury for the Margaret Court Cup,” Campbell said.
“It was a fantastic tournament which concluded yesterday, where our squad has performed extremely well on the grass courts.”
The tournaments, featuring some of the country’s best players, tested the players on the unknown grass surface as well physically with the conditions topping 40 degrees.
“It was a really good test for them,” Campbell said.
“We are very proud of their efforts.”
The trio will now turn their attentions to the final tournament of the tour in Shepparton, which concludes on January 11.
