Starting on Tuesday, the club will be hosting fitness bootcamps sessions at Tamworth Rugby Park for the next 10 weeks with people of all ages invited to take part.
Club member Blake Hamilton said the sessions were free and there was “no obligation to play” for the club.
“It’s just a really good way for everyone to get back on track fitness wise after Christmas,” Hamilton said.
“The sessions are designed to be a lead into our women’s team’s pre-season effort, but everyone is welcome.”

Hamilton said the sessions would include a variety of activities and would not be “solely centred around rugby”.
“There will be a little bit of everything including, circuit training, strength building and some ball work thrown in as well,” he said.
“As well as that, Empower Lifestyle Clothing Co have come onboard as a sponsor of the bootcamps and will be offering discounts to those who get involved.
“Really, it’s going to be a very good way for people to get involved and hopefully build up their fitness a bit.”
Hamilton said preparations for the team’s season were “looking positive”.
“At this stage we have quite a few who are really keen to get into it,” he said.
“Hopefully these bootcamp sessions may encourage a few more but it’s not really our aim.
“We’re just hoping to have as many men and women who are looking to build up their fitness as we can.”
- Bootcamp sessions will begin at 6pm every Tuesday night at Tamworth Rugby Park.
