More of the same?
Presumably Barnaby’s comments in Armidale Express 19 Dec 2018 are aimed at trying to convince the electorate that continued “bullshitting” will get him re-elected.
Referring to David Henry Drummond:
“he just bullshitted his way through, and all I can say is nothing much has changed.
You’ve got to be absolutely tenacious Mr Joyce said”.
We are all aware of “Barnaby bullshit” but Barnaby seems unaware of the profound differences between himself and David Henry Drummond who actually achieved great things for New England and most definitely did not “just bullshit”.
Read his biography!
Dear Barnaby
September 7, 2018 you were quoted in the Armidale Express saying:
“One of the great advantages of having the regulator in town (APVMA) is that all the chemical companies will gravitate towards Armidale, giving the city another anchor industry. Without APVMA, they’re not going to come.
My understanding of the role of the APVMA led me to enquire of you, firstly via your web site and then via an open letter to you published in the Armidale Express, the following:
Given that the APVMA is the Govt. statutory authority responsible for INDEPENDENTLY evaluating the safety and performance of pesticides and veterinary medicines intended for sale and to monitor the market to provide assurance that only those products that meet the APVMA’s requirements are being supplied:
FOR WHAT REASONS do you consider that one of the great advantages of the relocation is that “all of the chemical companies will gravitate towards Armidale”?
FOR WHAT REASONS do you consider that all of the chemical companies will want to come to Armidale if there is an APVMA presence, but will not want to come if there is no APVMA presence?
What would be the precise nature of the anchor industries they would provide for Armidale?
Neither avenue of enquiry elicited any response.
December 19, 2018 you were gain quoted in the Armidale Express saying:
“Moving the APVMA to Armidale was never the end game” “The next step of course, when the staff are there, trying to assist the chemical companies to go there”.
Why?
Is this just more “bullshit” ?

Peter Beattie's call for NRL players convicted of sexual assault or domestic violence to be banned from all the codes for life is the only intelligent idea he has ever come up with.
The NRL obviously has a problem with violence against women among its players, and it would send a strong message to the community that what was tolerated in the past will no longer be.
