Wests captain Shaun Stevenson confirmed opening batsmen Daniel Collinson will be out until after the Christmas break due to a finger injury.
“It’s going to be a big hole to fill for sure,” Stevenson said.
“From what I understand he injured his finger in the second over of last week’s game while wicket keeping.
“He’s certainly a big out for us.
“However, I think we have the depth to be able to fill that spot and there are plenty of guys who I think can step up for us.”

Coming off a loss against City United in the first round of T20 action, Stevenson said his side was eager to “bounce back”.
“I think our powerplay really hurt us last week,” he said.
“We didn’t really take full advantage of our first six overs and in the end that hurt us a bit.
“But the good thing about the competition this season is that anyone can beat anyone on their day, especially in T20 cricket.
“So if we field well and take our early chances like City United did last week, then I think we should be a very good chance.”
Wests currently have the better of Old Boys, securing a miraculous two-day win late last month.
“It was really good to get the monkey off the back with that win against Old Boys a couple of rounds ago,” Stevenson said.
“They’ve had the wood over us of late so it was really good for us from a confidence point of view.
“Hopefully we can continue to build that confidence with a few wins in the T20s and really go into Christmas with some momentum.”
