You don’t need to vote or belong to a specific political institution to have or oppose an opinion and there is no mention of votes in my letter to the Editor. 

You can splash your opinions across public media which is what Barnaby does. Unlike Barnaby [and presumably yourself from your comments] I express my opinions on carefully researched factual evidence and I suggest you [and Barnaby] do the same.
