Brad Cox’s big year continues with the Toyota Star Maker winner’s latest musical offering.
The 2019 Golden Guitar nominee released his new single, with an accompanying video, Red Light today.
It is the fourth single lifted from Cox’s self-titled debut album since winning Toyota Star Maker in January this year.

Cox said he couldn’t think of a better way to close out the year and that the single was “a taste of future Brad Cox”.
“I am very excited to release my new music video for Red Light. We worked very hard on the story, lead talent and dancers and my team and I have had an amazing time capturing all the moments and components that makes this clip what it is. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do,” he said.
Cox will come full circle in January when he returns to the Tamworth Country Music Festival in 2019.
Since the 2018 event – where he opened for Lee Kernaghan and The McClymonts – Cox joined Adam Eckersley and Brooke McClymont on their national Highway Tour and also performed at the Gympie Muster, Groundwater Festival and the Deni Ute Muster amongst others.
“Star Maker year has been a great experience and stepping stone for me and my career. The release of my debut album and now my third single Red Light during this Toyota Star Maker year has been unreal and I would like to thank everyone from the TSM Team,” Cox said.
Cox also earned nominations for the 47th Toyota Golden Guitar Awards for Best New Talent and Best Contemporary Album.
