After winning the toss and electing to bat, Whitehaven were unable to stop the rot, bundled out for 79.
Matthew Hall was the best with the bat for Whitehaven posting 34, while Aidan King claimed 3-8.

From there, things went from bad to worse for Whitehaven as Corey Matthews (4-7) ripped through the batting order and helped dismiss Whitehaven for 33.
