Resuming day two at 5-25, Mornington put up little resistance in their first innings, bowled out for just 51.
With a first innings lead of 122 runs, Court House captain Farran Lamb decided to “put the foot down” and enforce the follow on, eventually bowling Mornington out for 87.
“It was really good to get those five wickets quite early in the day,” Lamb said.
“We were tossing up whether to go back in and get a few quick runs, but being more than 100 runs ahead we opted to put them back in.”
Sam Doubleday (4-14) lead the way for Court House in the first innings, while Oscar Thomas helped guide the side to victory in the second innings with 4-15.

Mornington captain Sam Lumby showed fight in his side’s second innings, finishing unbeaten on 30.
“I thought Oscar Thomas bowled really well for us today [Saturday],” Lamb said.
“He got his wickets quickly and is proving to be a really good pick up for us this year.”
Lamb said his side still had some work to do if it was to win this year’s premiership.
“So far this season we haven’t been able to get our full side on the field at the same time,” he said.
“If we get our full team on the park I would say we are a strong chance and we will be tough to beat.
“In saying that, we are not going to get ahead of ourselves, we know Albion have got a strong lineup and are always tough to beat.
“From this game, I think the number one thing we will be looking to work on would be our middle order batting and that’s what we’ll do.”
