A WOMAN has been charged with drink driving after allegedly crashing her car into a kerb in East Tamworth.

Police said they were called to a driving complaint in Cockburn Street shortly before midnight on Tuesday.
Officers arrived at 11.50pm and claim they saw the vehicle drive up and mount the kerb in the street.
Police stopped the car and spoke with a woman behind the wheel. Officers allege the car had already appeared to have been involved in a collision, prior to the police stop.
The 40-year-old failed a roadside breath test and was arrested and taken to Tamworth Police Station where police allege she provided a blood alcohol reading of .081.
She was charged with mid-range drink driving and had her licence suspended to front court at a later date.
Meanwhile, a man and a woman will front court after they were arrested inside a Coledale house on Wednesday morning.
Officers were patrolling the Tingira Street area about 11am when they saw a man inside a car parked out the front of a house.
Police stopped to make inquiries with the man before he ran from the car into the house.
The man was arrested inside the house, along with a woman who was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
The 19-year-old man was arrested in relation to domestic violence-related offences.
He remains in custody at Tamworth Police Station on Wednesday afternoon.
The 24-year-old woman had an outstanding warrant out for her arrest for drug offences.
She is being held in custody pending a court appearance.
