This year will be Fiesta la Peel’s biggest yet, with a record number of countries represented and sixty stalls lining the Festival’s new location in Fitzroy Plaza to tantalise the taste buds and entertain the crowd.
Bicentennial Park will be overrun on Sunday with dogs and their owners
Canines and their doting companions are invited to attend Bicentennial Park on Sunday 14 October for Tamworth Regional Council’s annual Gala Day for Dogs.
The day will cater to both pet owners and their four-legged friends with a BBQ, raffles, stalls, dog parades, dog agility courses and training demonstrations.
The Dungowan Village Fair
There’ll be activities and markets – with model planes, an animal nursery and the ride on lawnmower pull for kids.
The fair is at the Dungowan Recreation Ground from 9am to 5pm on Oct 13 and 9am to midday on Sunday, entry $5, kids free.
Kootingal Art Show and Exhibition
ART meets the public at the Kootingal Lions Club art show and exhibition sale.
The fundraiser is on October 13 to 14, opening night is on October 12 at the Kootingal Community Hall on Chaffey Street.
Admission costs $5.
Liverpool Plains Relay For Life
It’s time for the community to come together and support The 2018 Liverpool Plains Relay For Life.
The overnight event will take place at Quirindi Rugby Club on the Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th of October.
It’s a chance for participants to remember and take a stand against cancer in the community.
