LISA Hall is taking her black Nissan Navara on an epic inter-state journey, collecting the pink signatures of breast cancer survivors.
On Thursday, it was Tamworth and Armidale’s turn.
Mrs Hall, who started from her home in the Gold Coast, said it’s a journey she wanted to “do as a mother”.
“My daughter Caitlin was diagnosed with breast cancer a month before her 21st birthday,” Mrs Hall said.
“She’s in remission now, but she’s not doing too well. This is my way of showing her a bit of hope and support.”
It’s been a grassroots campaign for Mrs Hall, who has been advertising her arrival to various towns along the way on social media.
“The reception has been absolutely fantastic, we’ve got about 70 signatures so far,” she said.
“A lot of people have been sharing their wonderful survivor stories, which have all be relayed back to my daughter.”
Once Mrs Hall gets back home, she’ll completely cover the car in clear wrap to preserve the signatures, and continue driving it around “to share hope will all people with breast cancer”.
