A Gunnedah man has pleaded guilty to three counts of possession of a prohibited weapon following a police raid earlier this year.

Peter Barnes, 41, faced Gunnedah Local Court earlier this month where he pleaded guilty to being in possession of prohibited weapons.
Police discovered the weapons during a raid on a Colin Court property on July 5.
The search of the property was conducted by uniform police and detectives from Gunnedah and Tamworth with help from the Oxley Target Action Group (TAG).
During the search, police told Fairfax Media in July they uncovered a number of prohibited weapons which were later sent off for forensic testing.
Following the guilty pleas, Barnes will appear in Gunnedah Local Court on October 2 for sentencing.
A Gunnedah woman also faced court on the same day in relation to the raid.

Rikki Straunland, 40, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of an illegal substance and one count of possession of a drug implement.
The court heard Ms Straunland told police during the raid she had nothing in her handbag, but was later discovered to be in possession of a small quantity of an illegal substance and a drug implement.
Straunland was fined $200 for possession of an illegal substance and received a Section 10A for possession of a drug implement.
