On Tuesday a Facebook message from her big sister Lexi and little brother Noah broke the news, and our hearts.

“With tears flowing from our eyes and our hearts hurting that our beautiful, bossy and pink wiggle dancing warrior lost her cancer fight yesterday and grew her angel wings,” the message read.

“Our Mummy and Daddy took her out to the fairy garden and played her the song “Float Away”, and for the first time in a long time our sissy did as she was told.

“There are not enough words in the world to express how much we miss and love her.”

Earlier this year Chloe’s parents Barry and Shiralee took Chloe to emergency for what they thought was a stomach bug, less than 24 hours later their lives were turned upside down.

Chloe was diagnosed with stage four rhabdoid meningioma metastatic cancer, and given just a 20 per cent chance of survival.

A series of surgeries, chemotherapy and other treatments followed with Chloe and her parents permanently stationed at John Hunter Hospital and Ronald McDonald House as they banded together for the fight of their lives.

The Tamworth community, and others, also banded together.

Go Fund Me and Facebook pages were started, as well as countless barbecues, raffles and fundraisers, while many organisations also chipped in wherever they could, to do whatever they could, to help the family in need.

“We love and thank you all for how much you all prayed and hoped like we did that she would of won this fight,” the post continued.

“We’re grateful that while her life here was short she was able to capture all your hearts too, just like she has ours.”

“We leave you with this – Most people could only dream of seeing an angel, we got to cuddle one.”
