Some legends from The Northern Daily Leader served up a sizzling spread of snags and sangas to keep the local footballers fueled up.
The cook-up was hatched to drum-up cash for the Buy A Bale drought appeal, a joint fundraising initiative of Fairfax Media and Rural Aid.

There’s a range of ways people can help through Buy A Bale, including:
– Donate to purchase hay, water, groceries, diesel to carry hay or a general donation.
– Register to have a donation barrel in your workplace.
– Get a Hay Truck poster for your workplace and have a competition to see who can fill it fastest.
– Sponsor part or a whole truck of hay.
–Register to become a collection point for donated items.
