Hosting a parent junior tournament on Sunday, kids and their parents will have the opportunity to play together in support of rural aid.
Club coach Mitch Power said he felt it was the right time to do a fundraiser.
“It’s not too hot yet, farmers could use a bit and it’s a chance for the kids to play and give a bit of money back to the club as well,” he said.
“We have many members of the club who come in and play socially and in our competitions, local farmers around here.
“I know it’s pretty dry for them and most around the area are doing it tough so it’s nice to give something back to them for supporting the club over the years.”

At least 30 pairs will play across three divisions on the day, with breakfast, a raffle and prizes also on offer.
Mr Power said the club hopes to raise more than $4000.
“A portion of the money will come back to our junior members who we support if they make north west teams, state representative teams and things like that for travel,”
“The rest will go to Rural Aid, as long as it goes to the right people we’re pretty happy.”
