The Carinya Christian School student will play with the 15 and under Combined Independent Schools at the NSW All Schools Netball Challenge in Sydney on Monday.
McIlveen was chosen for the CIS side after impressing for the Christian Schools Sports Association state side.

The 15-year-old and her CIS teammates will take on Combined Catholic Colleges and Combined High Schools teams at the netball challenge.
The CIS side has come together for two training runs in the lead-up.
As far as gelling goes, McIlveen said “probably in the first game” it could be hard but after that playing together “becomes second nature”.
McIlveen is used to turning out for a range of different teams as she’s also represented Tamworth Netball Association and the Northern Inland Academy of Sport this year.
Having played for so many teams doesn’t make the emotions disappear, though.
“I’m very nervous, but excited ,” McIlveen said of the upcoming carnival.
Perkins will play for the open Combined Catholic Colleges side.
She will train with the side down in Sydney on Sunday. She also has a training session the state Talent Development Squad (TDS) on Sunday, the first of seven over the coming weekends.
McIlveen, along with McCarthy's Bree Elliott, will also train with the development squad for their age group this year.
