This year the funds raised will go towards Royal Far West and will see members travel around Werris Creek and Quirindi.
Club president Peter Honeyman said fundraising efforts had been going all year leading into the drive.
“We have already raised $4421.55, when we ran a Charity Bowls day at the Kootingal Bowling Club in May,” Mr Honeyman said.
“This year’s drive will run from September 15 to 23, numbers are down this year due to the drought, but hopefully we can keep the funds coming.”

Over seven days, drivers will make their way from Werris Creek to Quirindi.
“So we will begin by camping at the Werris Creek horse grounds,” Mr Honeyman said.
“We have about 20 horse drawn carriages taking part this year and the each day we drive them for about 20 to 30 kilometres with breaks in between.
“At the end we will have done a total of 180 kilometres for the week.”
At the completion of the drive, all donated funds will be handed over to the Quirindi branch of Royal Far West.
“So we will have a welcoming dinner at the Werris Creek Bowling Club on September 15 and a farewell dinner at the Quirindi Showgrounds on September 23,” Mr Honeyman said.
“Hopefully it should be a cracker.”
