One of the branch’s most loyal customers Nola O’Halloran did the honours, cutting the ribbon at 9am, before the staff and customers got back down to the business of banking.
The new branch, which cost $1.5 million to renovate, offers everything the old branch had, plus a bit more according to manager Jason Johnson.
While the tellers are no longer behind screens, they are still there, with customers greeted at the door before being directed to whatever area they need.

The branch now not only has eight banking consultants down stairs, but also has a small business manager, agri relationship manager, business banking manager and financial planner upstairs.
“The new design has given us much more room for the different zones,” Mr Johnson said.
Those zones include a discovery zone, where customers can learn more about online banking using ipads, while there is also room to host events and talks.
“We will be holding ‘tech talks’ with customers both within and outside of business hours, discussing everything from how to use the app to much more in depth banking,” Mr Johnson said.
“We will also be having guest speakers, and running seminars about how to save for first home buyers and programs like that.”
ANZ are implementing the branches Australia wide.
