On Thursday, healthcare providers and real estate agents took to Fitzroy Avenue to spread a message about mental health and check in with Tamworth locals.
Centacare community engagement officer Bree Constable said the question is important, but it’s how to respond to someone who isn’t okay that really matters.
“A lot’s gone on in Tamworth and everyone faces day-to-day battles so it’s important to check in with friends and ask the question, ‘Are you okay? What can I do to help?’” she said.
