“The statewide awards program is a result of the strong relationships we are forging between the NSW Business Chamber and Local Chamber across the state,” said NSW Business Regional Manager, Joe Townsend.
“These awards provide an exceptional opportunity to celebrate excellence in the local business community and showcase their success at a local, regional and state level.
“Taking in Guyra, Gunnedah, Inverell, Armidale, Tamworth, Moree and Tenterfield, the New England North West Business Awards celebrate business excellence across a very diverse region, with winners announced at a gala dinner and award celebration at Armidale Town Hall.”
Over the past few years, the New England North West Region has had a winner in at least one of the categories: In 2015 Stephen Doley of Challenge Community Services was the winner of Young Business Executive across NSW and in 2017 Gunnedah and District Chamber of Commerce won Local Chamber of the Year.
“Judging by the caliber of finalists this year, I am confident that the New England North West region will again excel at the 2018 state awards in Sydney,” said Joe.
