The luncheon has three core goals: To increase membership; to fundraise for the direct benefit of the region’s youth; and continuing to raise the organisations’ profile.
The NIAS4Life function will be held at Wests Diggers on October 23.
“Through our partnership with the Lord’s Taverners, we have been able to secure former Wallaby and outspoken journalist, columnist, author Peter FitzSimons as the guest speaker for the event,” NIAS communications manager Sam Rains said.
2TM breakfast host David Lane will be the MC.
“The NIAS4LIFE function is an opportunity for us to reconnect with our former members and supporters and also raise funds to help support our sporting programs in the region,” Rains said.
Tables of 10 can be booked for $600 or individual tickets for $70. The ticket includes canapes, dinner, beers and wine. For more information contact NIAS at James.Cooper@NIAS.org.au
The Lord’s Taverners and the NIAS are both not-for-profit organisations with very similar goals. The two organisations invest all their time to benefit youth.
