There’s a new show on the road and if you are a fan of Bowie (Jeff Duff), Elton John (Lance Strauss) or Rod Stewart (direct from USA – Rob Caudill) you simply can’t miss it Thursday, September 6 at 7.30pm at Capitol Theatre Tamworth.

This high quality tribute act utilising the phenomenal talents of the best performers in the business will be coming to Tamworth for one explosive performance.

The 2340 Big Band will support Melinda Schneider as she Salutes The Great Women of Jazz on Saturday, September 8 at 7.30pm & Sunday 9 September at 2pm at Capitol Theatre Tamworth.

Melinda's reputation as a talented vocalist has been enhanced by her forays into the jazz idiom. 

She has released two tribute albums to Doris Day and has combined with Tom Burlinson to recreate The Hits of Doris Day and Frank Sinatra in sold-out live performances at the Sydney Opera House and the Queensland Performing Arts Centre in Brisbane.

With guest artists Peter Ross and Gabriela McDonald, swing’n it with Melinda and resident vocalist with the 2340 Big Band, Brad Gill, it guarantees an entertainment-packed show.

IWA - International Wrestling Australia is set to return to Tamworth TRECC for one night only.

As part of their 20 Year Anniversary Tour, the IWA wrestlers will be in Tamworth for Wrestle Revolution 2 on September 8 at 8pm.

For the past 20 years, they have been perfecting a unique form of live entertainment that has to be seen, to be believed - a slick combination of comedy, athleticism and drama, they are the physical embodiment of comic book superheroes and villains.

The tour will feature some of Australia's most talented and accomplished performers, including TMDK member The Monster, Jonah Rock and crowd favourite Cowboy, Chris Abbott along with a great cast of IWA wrestling superstars.

Some have performed for the global juggernaut WWE, along with other major wrestling companies from around the world including Japan and Europe.

Get set for a great night of body slamming, back-breaking wrestling action that will appeal to the whole family from terrifying heavyweights, to awe-inspiring aerial artists and tag team specialists.
