I split my sides laughing when I read Jamieson Murphy's piece "Barnaby Joyce shines spotlight on where mining wealth goes".

Wasn't Mr Joyce a senior member of the government which abandoned the Mineral Resources Rent Tax?

This tax would have provided the resources to do what he demands in Murphy's piece - and which the Federal Government would now find difficult to fund because it abandoned the MRRT.
