Jodie McGinnity, one of the senior coaches at Tamworth Gymnastics Club, said the club was thrilled with the results of the gymnasts.
“We were one of the few clubs who had all potential gymnasts qualify for the event,” McGinnity said of the state championships.
“All three [placegetters] had a successful competition and a good lead-up as well.”
McGinnity added: “It’s great. It bodes well for next year’s results as they enter the higher levels and aim for NSW team selection.”
All the Tamworth gymnasts gained selection for the state championships following their performances at the Country Championships.
A group of Tamworth Gymnastics Club members will now be focusing on the National Club Championships to be held at the end of September.
