Three months ago new manager Ana Royal decided that they should sell-off the old furniture and ornaments cluttering up storage areas when restaurant team leader Faithe Rackley had an idea to host the garage sale and give the profits to Doing it For Farmers.
“We did pretty well and raised over $1600, as well as some food vouchers,” Ms Rackley said.
“We got plenty of donations from the public as well and would have had 100 people come through on the day.”

The day also included face painting and a rock climbing wall for the kids, as well as a coffee van for the adults, with those businesses also chipping into the drought pool.
“We had loads of clothes and other things donated from the public that we sold as well – the clothes went for $1 each and were very popular,” Ms Racley said.
“The leftover items are being donating to the Red Cross and One of a Kind.”
