Riding for the Disabled participants Nikkita, Kelly, Samantha and Sarah will take part in the RDA NSW Dressage Championships and Gymkhana Gala.
The event will be run over three days from Friday, with about 30 competitors expected – and Samantha said she, for one, was excited.
“I am looking forward to competing in Sydney with the hope to do well to honour the time, hard work and dedication that the Tamworth RDA coaches and volunteers contribute to enable this opportunity to happen,” she said.

Fellow competitor Kelly was also looking forward to showcasing her skills.
“I’ve been riding for about eight years,” she said.
“My favourite horse is Geebung Ice Cream.”
The four women have been honing their horse skills at the regular RDA riding days at the Marius St grounds and at Tamworth Dressage Club days.
They also competed in para-equestrian sections of the 2018 Tamworth Dressage Club Championships, held in late June and early July.
RDA coach Peter Daley said the riders, volunteers and staff appreciated the support.
“The dressage club has been very supportive and offered to assist in any way.”
He said the RDA crew couldn’t say what the results might be from the Sydney event, “but we’re very hopeful”.
“We are confident of having a good time and enjoying the experiences,” he said.
The event is open to RDA NSW centre and associate riders, Pony Club NSW members with a disability and RDA interstate riders.
