NAN and pop ruled the day at St Edward’s Primary School Grandparent’s Day.
Students and their grandparents enjoyed an assembly filled with dance, laughter and song before heading outside to enjoy a picnic lunch on the lawn.
The kids took the time to celebrate the best things about their grandparents, be it cooking, jokes, playing computer when mum and dad said “No”, or one pop letting his grandson “driving the car”.
Packed picnics on the lawn boasted everything from fresh strawberries to finger buns, sausage sandwiches and fizzy drinks.
Grandparent’s were taken on a tour of the classrooms to see the hard work student’s had put into a number of projects throughout the school year.
St Edward’s Primary School celebrated Grandparent’s Day on Friday.
