The club is holding its Ladies Day fundraiser to raise funds for the McGrath Breast Cancer nurse at Tamworth Hospital.
Organiser Sophie McKenzie said there’s a few people in the community who work within Hunter New England Health.
“We wanted to do something that would support women in regional areas and the Tamworth breast care nurse position has only recently been advertised and promoted,” she said.
“We wanted to raise awareness for such a great service that provides support to our local community.”
