Steven James Blacklock, 33, is accused of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and fail to stop causing GBH, to which he has pleaded not guilty.
On Monday, the Tamworth Local Court heard police will deliver more evidence to Blacklock’s lawyer.
Defence solicitor Stephen O’Reilly said he is seeking further brief orders.
“I don’t know how long the Crown requires for that to be satisfied,” he said.

Police allege Blacklock drove a sedan down Cole Road, colliding with a 26-year-old woman just after dawn on February 24 – before driving off.
The woman sustained significant injuries, including a fractured pelvis and severe lacerations to her face and neck.
Blacklock remains in custody, bail refused until the matter returns to court on August 22.
