The group has secured funding that will allow its sessions to run for another 12 months for children with disabilities and their families.
Organiser Veronica Filby said it was “just fabulous news” that Northcott, Landmark, Lions Club of Tamworth and Tamworth Regional Council would continue to pitch in.
“We’ve been really blessed with all the support we’ve got,” Ms Martin said.

She said up to six families now took part in the sessions.
“We have also been blessed with the most beautiful, kind volunteers and we are so grateful for their support,” Ms Martin said.
“We love seeing the beautiful smiles on everyone’s faces and we just want everyone to have the same opportunities, regardless of their abilities.
“We are so delighted to continue these sessions for the community.”
Some of the sports played are big-ball soccer, T-ball, hockey and even obstacle courses.
The group is for any family whose child has difficulty accessing mainstream sports – and a major focus is having the child’s siblings, parents and carers play alongside them.
“It’s a fairly informal sporting session and the main aim is to allow everybody to have the room and the ability to play,” Ms Martin said.
