The footballer helped North West overcome a slow start at the NSW CHS touch championships to finish eighth.
North West coach Ian Ryan said O’Donnell had a big carnival in both attack and defence last week.
“She played for NSW last year and she continued her form [this year],” Ryan said.
“Kimberley’s very quick and has a very good touch brain. She takes the right option most of the time.
“She was our main strike weapon but everyone supported her very well.
“All the girls performed very well. They were all strong and all happy to take on whatever job that was asked.”

Coach Ryan took plenty of positives from the three-day carnival held in Wagga.
Firstly, all the players in the side were eligible to play again in 2019. Secondly, the work ethic showed by the team was sensational.
“We’d been training quite hard in the lead-up,” Ryan said.
“In the end they performed very well against the stronger teams, they just started a little bit slow.
“We had a draw and were beat on the bell by one team. We weren’t far off.
“We probably wouldn’t have made the four but we could have finished fifth.”
North West also had teams competing at the NSWPSSA Rugby League Open Championship and the NSWPSSA Hockey Girls Championship last week. North West finished 10th in both the rugby league and hockey carnivals.
