Russell recorded her new album with LBS Studio in Tamworth earlier this year.
“It was really, really good, it was fun, they just make you relax – I was a bit stressed at first but they make you feel like part of the furniture,” she said.
The talented singer-songwriter was born and raised in Canley Vale NSW and now resides on the South Coast of NSW in Bega, continuing her musical career.

Russell spent her earlier days travelling around the talent quest circuit, while competing in a variety of country music events.
“It taught me a lot with confidence, building myself up until I was ready to get out on my own,” she said.
The new single, co-written with Shaza Leigh, is inspired by the emotional story of her childhood home that was torn down and replaced by a double brick home, meaning she was never able to revisit the loving memories.
“I hope that they love it and if they’re in the same position they can relate to the song,” she said.
